Visualization
Visualization is where the client's idea comes to life. A 3D model of the design is created with dimensional consistency. Also, simulation of the model can be observed. All the constraints / mates can be modelled showing the movements of parts and assemblies as they would function in the real world. It's an artist's impression of your mechanical design.

2D Prints
The 2D prints corresponding to the 3D model are produced. Given to the workshop for the manufacture of your design.
Documentation
The models and corresponding drawings produced can provide a reference point for the design which can be used in change management, costings and legal tender.

Interference analysis
One important tool of Solid Modelling is the Interference Analysis tool. All the parts of the model are observed for interference. Here, this can save time and money in manufacture of the design by analyzing and correcting the flaws of the digital prototype.

Stress analysis
Stress Analysis is available with the solid Modelling packages. It allows FEA of the design. A colored model is produced along with a printout indicating the stress distribution of the design.
